General supervision for voice network technicians. In charge of all the three Remote University Campus to make sure all the IT infrastructure is well maintained and reliable. Work with external service providers in case there is a need for out-sourcing. We run mainly Windows operating systems for desktops and Linux/Unix for servers. The Backbone is full optic Fibre and LANs are mixed with cat6 and cat5e cabling. We have 3 layer 3 switches for the NOC and Backbone and various layer 2 switches which are manageable with a few unmanageable switches which are yet to be phased out.
